Embracing Edition Zero with Steve Willis

Nestled in the rustic landscapes of Waimate, New Zealand, Steve Willis recently undertook Edition Zero—a four-course gravel odyssey that gives riders the opportunity to choose their own adventure.

Steve tackled the "Mains" course, which entailed 247 kilometers of rolling farmlands and sub-alpine passes. Riders traversed a tapestry of dry, dusty trails bathed in the relentless gaze of the Kiwi sun, facing the ultimate test of endurance and gravel skill.

Guided by his Karoo 2, Steve navigated each kilometer with a fusion of determination and perseverance - crossing the finish line minutes after the 9-hour mark. The meticulously crafted route that showcased the region's natural splendor fostered a shared community among participants, bonding over the rigors of the trail.
